Commercial Furniture Project Sourcing from China

We do not just sell furniture. We help source and coordinate furniture for projects — working from your BOQ, drawings and specification to a delivered, inspected and documented order.

The scope of work

What project sourcing includes

Ten stages that take a requirement from an issued BOQ to a shipped, inspected order.

01

BOQ Review

We read your bill of quantities line by line, flag ambiguity, and confirm what is genuinely specified before pricing.

02

Product Matching

Requirements are matched to manufacturers that can produce the specification — not to whatever is closest in a catalogue.

03

Factory Sourcing

Access to a qualified supply base covering workstation systems, seating, casegoods, joinery and partitions.

04

Quotation

A costed, line-by-line response in a structure you can compare directly against other suppliers.

05

Specification Confirmation

Materials, finishes, dimensions and hardware confirmed in writing before production begins.

06

Sample Coordination

Physical samples, finish panels and shop drawings prepared for your review and consultant approval.

07

Production

Production scheduled against your programme, with progress reported rather than assumed.

08

Quality Control

Pre-shipment inspection by category, with dated photographs and a written findings list.

09

Packaging

Knock-down or crated packing planned around container utilisation, protection and site assembly.

10

Shipping

Export documentation, container loading and delivery coordination to your GCC destination.

The commercial question

Why use GulfForma instead of going direct to a factory?

This is the question every procurement manager should ask, so it deserves a direct answer.

Going direct to a single factory works when your requirement matches that factory's product range exactly. Project furniture rarely does. A typical office fit-out needs workstations, seating, storage, joinery and partitions — normally produced by different specialists, in different materials, to different lead times.

Managing that directly means coordinating several factories, several quality standards and several shipments, in a language most project teams do not share. The cost saved on one intermediary is usually spent on site labour, rework and programme delay.

  • One commercial contact instead of multiple factory contacts
  • Specification translated into something a factory can be held to
  • Consolidated production so finishes match across categories
  • One shipment, one set of documents, one delivery to site
  • Inspection before packing rather than a dispute after arrival
